Donna Richie’s extended family grew four years ago when she responded to an advertisement seeking volunteers for Alton Memorial Hospital.

For the past 10 years, supporters of Alton Memorial Hospital’s mission have worn their best camouflage clothing and raised money for a good cause. Barry and Gaye Julian have been at the forefront of the Duck Pluckers, Deer Skinners & Fish Hookers Ball.

When you see Khloee Hall smile, you would never know that the 12-year-old has been fighting a hard battle for three years. Khloee is one of 50 children helped in 2018 by gifts to the Alton Memorial Health Services Foundation's Mary Alice McCarthy Fund, which provides financial assistance for children to receive physical, occupational or speech therapy.

Frederick Monroe and his family are grateful for the help they received last year from Alton Memorial Health Services Foundation’s Extra Mile Fund, which provides financial support for patients who have lost income due to cancer, so they can focus on treatment, healing and recovery.

Joanna Illges, MBA, RT(R), joined Alton Memorial Hospital as the manager of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology on March 18.
